Based in Derby, we are a supported living company that is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalised care to individuals in need. Guy's Mission
My late father, Guy Peters, was very passionate about creating a comfortable and happy home for adults with learning disabilities after experiencing the struggles of a family friend.
Company Founded
1997
At the age of 60, when most people would be considering retirement, Guy founded the company with limited resources. He started only with Chesapeake house and named the company after his daughter Karen, and two granddaughters Isobel and Tilly. Which is how KIT Care got its name.
Three Successful Homes
2020
Guy worked everyday, running the company until he was 83 years old when he passed. He proudly left behind three successful homes. Chesapeake, Tilly, and Isobel house.
Present
Today we realise we have a lot to live up to, but with a fantastic team, we can continue to achieve exactly what my father set out to.
