Karen Kennedy
Director
I was appointed Director of Kit Care in 2020. Prior to Kit Care I worked for Nottinghamshire Police in public protection for 25 years as a Detective Constable. I enjoy Walking with my dogs, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
I’ve worked with Kit Care since 2021 as the Registered Manager. Prior to Kit Care I qualified as a Social Worker in 2013 and have worked in both the public and private sector in various management roles. In my spare time, I run a book club, enjoy hiking with my dog and look after an allotment.
I’ve worked with Kit Care since 2022, as a Team Leader and then as Deputy Manager. Prior to Kit Care I worked in Local Authority Adult Social Care for over 20 years, including assessment and reablement services. I enjoy challenging myself hikes in Derbyshire and attending local Clubbercise classes.
I have worked with Kit Care since 2016, first as a support worker and now part of the management team. Prior to Kit Care I worked in Adult Residential Services. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and walking my dog.
I’ve worked with Kit Care since 2019, first as a support worker and now part of the management team. Prior to Kit Care I worked as a Family Support Worker, supporting families of young people with special needs. My hobbies include anything arts and crafts and I enjoy walking with my dogs.
